Ohio men’s basketball released its 2015-16 schedule on Friday, and the Bobcats are slated to play 31 regular season games, 17 of which will be played in front of home fans.

After an exhibition at home with Indiana Tech on Nov. 7, the ‘Cats open their season in the Convocation Center with a Nov. 14 matchup with Florida Gulf Coast. They’ll have one more home game before making a trip to St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands for four games at the 2015 Ezybonds U.S. Virgin Islands Paradise Jam.

The Green and White have a notable road game with Cleveland State on Dec. 12 at Quicken Loans Arena before they come home to play four games at the Convo, including a game with Division II opponent Ohio Dominican, to close out the non-conference schedule.

The ‘Cats tip off their Mid-American Conference slate on Jan. 6 with a trip to Dekalb, Ill., to take on the Northern Illinois Huskies. Ohio won’t be on the road for long, as its first MAC home game will be a tilt with Ball State on Jan. 9.

The Bobcats travel to Buffalo to take on the 2015 MAC Tournament champs on Feb. 13, and the Bulls make a trip to Athens on Feb. 27.

Ohio’s Battle of the Bricks with Miami resumes on Feb. 20 in the Convo, and the ‘Cats finish their regular season on March 12 with the RedHawks in Oxford, Ohio.

The 2016 MAC Tournament starts just three days later on March 7, and the tournament champion will be crowned in Quicken Loans Arena on March 12.
