MAC Men’s Basketball Preseason Poll Released

The Mid-American Conference released their men’s basketball preseason poll and All-MAC teams, and junior Antonio Campbell made the cut for the Eastern Division All-MAC preseason team.

Campbell has big shoes to fill this year for the ‘Cats, seeing that the big man in Maurice N’dour was drafted this past summer. Campbell did average 10 points per game along with 7.6 rebounds per game last season, and is looking to step up in a leadership position this upcoming season.

Ohio received 69 votes and is projected to sit in the no. 3 spot in the East, behind no. 1 Akron and no. 2 Kent State. Central Michigan is projected to the take the Western Divsion, receiving 138 votes.

The Bobcats will kickoff their season on Nov. 7 when they host the Indiana Tech Warriors at 2 pm.
