DAYTON, Ohio (AP) – Dayton police say a young boy was critically hurt in a drive-by shooting when someone opened fire on a southwest Ohio home.

Officers say the gunfire erupted late Saturday night while people were sitting in the living room of the home, and the boy was hit once. They say he’s believed to be 4 or 5 years old. No details about his injuries were immediately released.
