One presidential candidate is hitting the local scene with a visit to Jackie O’s Taproom.

Hillary Clinton announced her “Breaking Down Barriers” tour late Sunday night, a tour which will bring her to stops in Ohio, West Virginia and Kentucky, according to a press release sent out by her campaign.

“This trip will underscore Clinton’s focus on the aspirations and needs of families, especially in often overlooked or underserved communities across the country, and what they are looking for in their next president,” the release stated.

Jackie O’s Pub and Brewery in Athens sent out a statement on their Facebook page announcing that she would be visiting the production facility and taproom off of Stimson Avenue.

“Ohio is the best place on earth to make and drink beer – and big names are taking notice,” the release stated.

The campaign has not said specifically where they are going, but she is scheduled to make stops in Ashland, Kentucky, and Williamson, West Virginia on Monday.

West Virginia Governor Earl Ray Tomblin endorsed Clinton for president on Friday, saying he believed she was “committed to working with us to diversify West Virginia’s economy while continuing to find ways to use our abundant coal and natural gas to power the nation.”

Full details have not yet been released about the tour.
