ARTS/West Presents: Dan Kennedy Heartland Tour
< < Back toComposer, pianist and recording artist Dan Kennedy will play a contemporary, all-ages solo piano concert at 7:30 pm, Saturday, June 25 at ARTS/West. The doors will open at 7 p.m. and tickets are $10 at the door.
Classically trained at the Oberlin and New England Conservatories, Dan will play an original “coffeehouse-style” show.
Dan’s latest album, Bloom Road, peaked at #7 on the ZMR Top 100, an American chart, and at #4 on the OWM Top 100, a British chart. Dan’s music can be heard on 250 radio stations, including SiriusXM, Pandora, Spotify, and Music Choice.
This month his Heartland Tour will take him from his home among the rolling farmlands of Western Massachusetts to the Mississippi River and back, with stops in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Illinois, Missouri, Tennessee, and Maryland.
Dan Kennedy hopes that his music can help inspire people to reach their complete potential. “I named my latest recording Bloom Road because life is a journey, like going down a road, and I had a vision of a person’s soul blooming and reaching its full expression.” says Kennedy.
