Ohio guard Quiera Lampkins has been named the Mid-American Conference East Division Player of the Week for the fourth time this season, the conference announced on Tuesday.
In two games, Lampkins averaged 24 points, eight rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.5 steals in two conference wins.
Lampkins started her week with a double-double against Toledo on Jan. 18, 26 points and 10 rebounds. She also recorded five assists in the 64-55 win. Lampkins scored her 1,500th career point against the Rockets as well. It was her fourth double-double of the season.
In Ohio’s 68-51 win over Eastern Michigan on Jan. 21, Lampkins scored 22 points in only 25 minutes of playing time. She laso had six rebounds, two assists and two steals.
The Bobcats (14-4, 5-2) hit the court next on Tuesday when they host the Western Michigan Broncos. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
