Pop Culture Art Opening and ‘Tales From the Flipside’ Performance

On May 12, ARTS/West will host a 5 p.m. pop culture themed art exhibit opening reception with light refreshments. At 7 p.m., BDC Entertainment and Ratha Con present Tales From The Flip-Side Live!
Music, magic and stories from and inspired by the book, Tales From The Flip-Side!

John Pyka returns as his signature character and star of the book series “Big Daddy Cool” performing his award winning musical stand-up magic in an intimate cabaret setting along with his Bombshell Kittens. Travel back in time to the mid 20th century to Club Roxy for the “most fun you can legally have in one evening!”

Admission for performance is $10 individual, $20 Family

Rated PG for audiences of age 13 and above.

This evening of fun is being held the night before Ratha Con: Athens Own Pop Culture Convention on May 13th at the Athens Community Center.

ARTS/West is presenting this event.  The mission of ARTS/West is to make facilities, resources, and opportunities available to arts organizations, individual artists, and community residents.  ARTS/West harnesses community focus for all individuals engaged in the creation, performance, and exhibition of the arts and promotes activities preserving the beauty, heritage, and culture of our town.
