Gridiron Glory Announces 2017 Media Day

As teams are preparing for a new season on the field, the staff at Gridiron Glory is prepping for a new season as well. Gridiron Glory will be in season 19, but before we cover your teams, we need to meet your teams.

The 2017 Gridiron Glory Media Day will take place on Sunday, August 20 from 11:30-4:00 at WOUB-TV and the Schoonover Center on Ohio University’s campus.

Teams, players and coaches in our coverage area will be invited to attend. Those in attendance will take photo and video headshots, participate in meet and greets with other teams and our staff, play games and listen to a speaker.

The speaker at this year’s media day will be Ohio State Representative Jay Edwards. Representative Edwards is a graduate from Nelsonville-York High School and was a previous Gridiron Glory Player of the Year nominee. After graduating from Nelsonville-York in 2007, Representative Edwards attended and played football at Ohio University. He will speak about his experiences being a student-athlete in the area.
