Known as one of the founding fathers of country music that exists outside of the constraints of traditional Nashville songwriting, Steve Earle is headed to the Peoples Bank Theatre in Marietta on Friday, July 22 with his longtime backing band, the Dukes.
WOUB’s Emily Votaw spoke to Earle about his latest release, So You Wannabe an Outlaw (Warner Brothers Records), his arrival on the Nashville music scene as a teenager, and what records he’s listening to right now.
