The week of September 18 marked the annual Jackson Apple Festival, a weeklong celebration of the rich cultural heritage of the Jackson, OH area. Located just about an hour outside of Athens, Jackson is a thriving little burg that has historically bopped from one industry to another to support itself. Last spring, WOUB focused on Jackson as the subject of their ongoing Our Town series. Check out these photos of the festival, taken by WOUB’s Emily Votaw.
