Michelle Waters, editor of Hold the Note, a publication that focuses on regional music throughout Southeast Ohio, West Virginia and surrounding areas, is hard at work putting the finishing touches on the Undercurrent Winter Festival, a music festival which will take place over the course of Friday, February 9 and Saturday, February 10 at the Peoples Bank Theatre in Marietta. WOUB’s Emily Votaw spoke to Waters about getting the line-up for the festival arranged, the importance of paying attention to the music in one’s backyard, and what people can expect from a music festival that will take place in a historic theater.
