Unofficial primary election results for local races in Muskingum County are in.

Voters in the East Muskingum Local School District approved a 1.3 mill 5-year renewal levy, 1,225 to 619. Voters in the West Muskingum Local School District approved a 5.4 mill 10-year renewal levy, 1,867 to 835.

Voters rejected a 4 mill 5-year levy for the Jackson Fire District 122 to 64. Perry Township voters did approve a 3.5 mill 5-year levy, 394 to 261.

A plan for electrical aggregation for Springfield Township, the village of Roseville, and the village of South Zanesville is uncertain after voters in Springfield and Roseville rejected the measure. Voters in Springfield rejected the measure by three votes, 180-177. Voters in Roseville rejected the measure 40-11. But voters in South Zanesville approved the measure 75-58.
