ACMS Celebrates 40 Years of Learning With Jan. 12 Gala

On Saturday, January 12, the Athens Community Music School will commemorate 40 years of serving the community with a gala taking place in Ohio University’s School of Music Recital Hall in Glidden Hall (3 Health Center Drive, Athens) starting at 7 p.m. The event will feature performances by a number of the school’s master teachers, including voice, guitar, and violin instructors and a few songs by the Athens Youth Chorus to close out the night. The event is free and open to the public.
