PBS Honored with Five Emmy® Nominations

On July 16, 2019, the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced the nominees for the 71st Annual Primetime Emmy® Awards. PBS programs received five nominations including for the critically acclaimed documentaries INDEPENDENT LENS “Hale County This Morning, This Evening” and POV “Minding the GAP.”

AMERICAN MASTERS also received a nomination for Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Series. The series has earned a total of 74 Emmy® nominations and 28 Emmy® Awards, including 10 for Outstanding Non-Fiction Series and five for Outstanding Non-Fiction Special.

The Primetime Emmy® Awards will broadcast live on Sunday, September 22, 2019, on FOX from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
