Police: Suspect Charged in Death of Man Who Was Set on Fire

CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio (AP) — Police in Ohio say a suspect in the death of a man who was set on fire has been arrested on an aggravated murder charge.
Circleville police say police and fire officials responded to the reported smell of smoke in an apartment Monday and found a man who had been assaulted and was on fire. Police say the injured man was taken to a hospital where he died.
Police said Tuesday on Facebook that they have arrested Gregory A. Hardman on a charge of aggravated murder in the death. Pickaway County Jail records don’t show a lawyer for the 33-year-old Circleville man.
Authorities haven’t released the name of the man who died.
Circleville is about 30 miles south of Columbus.
