Graham Nash will perform on Ohio University’s Athens campus on Saturday, October 19 in the Templeton-Blackburn Alumni Memorial Auditorium. I spoke to the songwriter about his recent compilation release, performing songs off of his early solo recordings, and why it is important for musicians to remain vocal about their political leanings.

The legendary songwriter started his career in The Hollies in 1962, leaving the group six years later to join the infamous and short-lived supergroup Crosby, Stills, Nash, (and Young). Nash went on to release a series of well-received solo albums, including 1971’s Songs For Beginners and 1974’s Wild Tales. Nash is still making music, having released This Path Tonight in 2016 and regularly touring, as well as having released the compilation album Over the Years in 2018.
