Boals earns his 100th career head coaching win as the Bobcats down Akron

ATHENS, Ohio (WOUB) — Ohio Men’s Basketball Head Coach Jeff Boals now has 100 head coaching wins under his belt after a close win over Akron.
The Bobcats earned a 69-63 win over the Zips Tuesday night at James A. Rhodes Arena.

Mark Sears led the way offensively with 24 points for Ohio.
Ali Ali was the leading scorer the Zips with 22 points.
The Bobcats are scheduled to return to action Friday at home against Kent State.
