WOUB students honored with Ohio Valley NATAS College Student Production Award

The award was for an episode of Gridiron Glory

ATHENS, OH – Six WOUB current and former student workers were recipients of the Ohio Valley Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) 2022 College Student Production Award.

The Ohio University students, Michael Roth ‘22, a journalism news and information major, Nick Viland ‘22, a journalism news and information major, Dylan Theisen, a senior journalism news and information major, Ben Byers ‘22, a journalism/communications media studies major, Max Brunke, a senior news and information major, and Claire Schiopota, a junior journalism news and information major, were honored in the Sports Program or Live Sporting Event/Game category for episode 12 of Gridiron Glory season 22.

The recipients for the College Student Production Awards were announced during a virtual ceremony on Sunday, September 18.
