Here are the unofficial 2022 general election results for Belmont County

BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio (WOUB) – Here are the unofficial results for contested races and local issues in Belmont County. 

Republican Jerry Echemann earned a position as County Commissioner with 69% of the vote. Democrat Jack A. Regis Sr. earned 31% of the vote.  

Republican Cindi L. Henry earned a position as County Auditor with 64% of the vote. Democrat Jessa Lepic earned 36% of the vote.  

Voters in Belmont County approved a Library  – Property Tax Renewal for 1 mill for expenses by a vote of 7802 to 3328. 

Voters in Belmont County approved a Senior Services  – Tax Renewal for 1.5 mills for 5 years by a vote of 17720 to 4282. 

Voters in Memorial Park District of St. Clairsville and Richland Township approved an Expense -Tax Renewal for 0.25 mills for 5 years by a vote of 3311 to 1638. 

Voters in the City of Saint Clairsville approved a Current Expense – Tax Renewal for 1.95 mills for 5 years by a vote of 1197 to 802. 

Voters in Smith Township approved a Community Center  – Tax Renewal 2 mills for 5 years by a vote of 431 to 151. 

Voters in Smith Township approved a Roads and Bridges  – Tax Renewal for 0.9 mills for 5 years by a vote of 441 to 131. 

Voters in Smith Township approved a Fire Protection – Tax Renewal for 4 mills for 5 years by a vote of 481 to 103.
