Saturday’s Excursions will feature “Vignettes of Mingus”, a different type of overview, with unique interpretations of Mingus’ oeuvre. We will also feature a rebroadcast of excerpts from an archival interview between Ahmad Jamal and Art, conducted during Ahmad’s annual holiday appearance in Washington DC at Blues Alley in 1986.
