Saturday Excursions commemorates the transition of two artists, and the birthdate of a third, all part of subsequent generations of Jazz artists. Collectively they are:

Roy Haynes (d. Nov. 12 at 99), Lou Donaldson (d. Nov. 9 at 98),

and James “Jabbo” Ware (b. Nov. 16 d. Dec. 29, 2022 at 80).

Join Excursions Sat. Nov. 16 from 6-9 pm EST for our recognition of these contributors an 80 year-long wave of creativity that became America’s gift to the world.
