Stuart’s Opera House announces Melissa Wales will step down from Executive Director role in October

NELSONVILLE, Ohio (WOUB) – After nearly eight years at Stuart’s Opera House and serving as Executive Director since 2020, Melissa Wales will be stepping down from her role, effective October 17.

“It’s been my absolute pleasure and privilege to work with the amazing staff, board, and volunteers of such an incredible institution,” said Wales in an announcement shared on social media. “Stuart’s is well positioned to grow into its next chapter and I wish nothing but the best for the organization going forward. I’m confident that this is the right decision for both myself and Stuart’s Opera House, and I look forward to seeing what’s ahead.”
