Passion Works Studio Presents ‘Drawing the Cards: Major Art‑Cana’ by Jerry “JJ” Johnson at Jackie O’s Brew Pub

ATHENS, Ohio (WOUB) – Passion Works Studio—a nonprofit art center that collaborates with artists with developmental differences—presents Drawing the Cards: Major Art‑Cana, a collection featuring work by Passion Works studio artist Jerry “JJ” Johnson.

The collection explores the arcana of the tarot, a set of symbolic images often used for storytelling and personal reflection. These archetypal figures—such as The Fool, The Empress, and The Magician—are meant to represent universal human experiences and serve as inspiration for Johnson’s expressive, colorful artwork.

The exhibition will be on view at Jackie O’s Brew Pub (24 W. Union Street) from July 25 through August 22, with a free public opening reception on Thursday, July 25 at 6 p.m.
