Here are the unofficial results of the 2025 general election in Meigs County
< < Back toMEIGS COUNTY, Ohio (WOUB) — According to unofficial results, 33.26% of registered voters in Meigs County cast ballots in the 2025 November general election.
Voters in Bedford Township selected David Bates with 213 votes and Timothy Michael Hall with 145 votes to serve as Trustees. Michael Eugene Chancey received 96 votes while Bryan P. Zirkle received 95 votes.
In Chester Township voters selected Charles R. Bissell with 418 votes and Alan Holter with 307 votes to serve as Trustees. Eric Thomas received 292 votes.
Voters in Columbia Township selected Marco Jeffers with 173 votes and Taylor Bolin with 158 votes to serve as Trustees. Gary Lee Carr received 133 votes.
Voters in Lebanon Township selected Jeffrey S. Delong with 112 votes and Gary L. Cooper with 83 votes to serve as Trustees. Donald R. Dailey received 46 votes.
Voters in Letart Township selected Charles Wolfe with 110 votes and Justin Hill with 102 votes to serve as Trustees. Donald J. Smith received 86 votes.
In Olive Township voters selected Larry E. Life with 322 votes and William R. Osborne with 231 votes to serve as Trustees. Logan Bailey received 119 votes, Richard J. Gilbride, Jr. received 108 votes, and Don H. Dunfee received 66 votes.
Voters in Orange Township selected Chad E. Nelson with 215 votes and Michael E. Guess with 186 votes to serve as Trustees. Christopher Curtis received 149 votes.
Voters in Rutland Township selected Steven R. Lambert with 227 votes and David E. Davis with 171 votes to serve as Trustees. Jim W. Cleland received 163 votes.
Voters in Salem Township selected Jack L. Ervin with 118 votes and H. Dannie Lambert with 107 votes to serve as Trustees. Kara Dunkle received 39 votes.
Voters in Scipio Township selected Clinton R. Kennedy with 108 votes and Justin Lee Workman with 95 votes to serve as Trustees. John E. Mcgee received 83 votes.
In Sutton Township votes selected Joshua T. Davis with 421 votes and Zachary Ryan Pickett with 396 votes to serve as Trustees. Howard R. Ervin, Jr. received 326 votes.
Voters selected Jessica L. Staley with 868 votes and Britney L. Rucker with 808 votes to serve on the Eastern Local School Board of Education. Cary Roberts Frith received 343 votes.
Voters in Rutland Township approved a proposed five year 1 mill renewal levy for fire protection with 70% casting ballots in favor.
Voters in Orange Township approved a proposed five year 2 mills replacement levy for fire protection with 66% casting ballots in favor.
Meigs County voters approved a proposed five year 1 mill renewal levy for Meigs County Health Department operating with 57% casting ballots in favor. Voters also approved a proposed 5 year 1 mill additional levy for 911 services with 55% casting ballots in favor.
Voters in the Meigs Local School District rejected a proposed five year 1.5 mills additional levy for general improvements with 57% casting ballots against.
Voters in the Village of Middleport rejected a proposed five year 3 mills additional levy for current expenses with 52% casting ballots against.
Voters in the Village of Racine approved a five year 3 mills replacement levy for current expenses with 73% casting ballots in favor.
In the Village of Syracuse, voters approved a five year 1.5 mills additional levy for fire protection with 67% casting ballots in favor. Voters also approved a proposed five year 2.5 mills levy for current expenses with 50% casting ballots in favor.
Voters in the Village of Rutland approved a proposed five year 2 mill renewal levy for current expenses with 52% casting ballots in favor. Voters also approved a proposed five year 2 mill renewal levy for police protection with 58% casting ballots in favor and but rejected a proposed five year 5 mill additional levy for police protection with 67% casting ballots against.
Voters in the Village of Lebanon approved a proposed five year 1 mill renewal levy for cemetery maintenance with 63% casting ballots in favor.
Voters in Salem Township approved a proposed five year 0.5 mill renewal levy for cemetery maintenance with 56% casting ballots in favor.
Voters in the Eastern Local School District rejected a proposed 37 year 3.9 mills bond levy and a continuing 0.5 mill levy with 54% casting ballots in against.
