< < Back to meigs-county-teen-reported-missingUPDATE: Missing teen found on Sunday, March 15.
The Meigs County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a teenager who went missing on Monday afternoon.
In a news release on Wednesday morning, the sheriff’s office stated that Ali Wooten, 14, of Racine, was last seen getting into a small SUV, possibly a Ford Escape, at Southern High School in Racine. Wooten is described as five-foot-four-inches tall, 115 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.
Meigs County Sheriff Keith Wood said at this time the case is being considered as a “runaway” with Wooten willingly getting into the SUV.
Deputies have reviewed security footage from Southern High School and are seeking any information on the driver of the SUV as well as Wooten’s location.
Anyone with information about Wooten’s whereabouts or the driver of the SUV is asked to contact the Meigs County Sheriff’s Office at (740) 992-3371.
