Online Job Ad Postings In Southeast Ohio Rise

Online ads for jobs in Southeast Ohio rose in January and February by more than 700 compared to the same period last year.
More than 6,200 job openings were posted online from January 14, 2013 and February 13, 2013 according to data released by the Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services.
The number of ads posted increased by 873 from the previous reporting period.
Ohio University posted the most ads online with 135 in the current reporting period followed by Lowe’s with 120 and AECOM with 105.
The top three occupations for online ads were heavy and tractor-trailer truck drivers, retails salespersons and registered nurses.
