RedStorm Shut Out At Cumberland, 4-0

The highly-ranked Bulldogs outshot Rio 26-3, with a shots on goal advantage of 17-2.
Forward Shauna Gilpin scored twice for Cumberland. Gilpin found the open net just three minutes into the game to make it 1-0, while Rhianna Parsons added the second goal for the Bulldogs shortly after.
Michelle Ward scored an unassisted marker for Cumberland and Gilpin topped things off, scoring the Bulldogs’ last goal of the game to make it a defiant Mid-South Conference win.
Despite a tough outing, RedStorm goalkeeper Allison Keeney recorded 13 saves for the day. Cumberland goalkeeper Lindsay Kitson made two saves for the Bulldogs, marking her eighth shutout of the season.
The RedStorm will face West Virginia Institute of Technology at 7 p.m. this Tuesday.
