Franklin County Prosecutor Ron O’Brien said Wednesday that charges against Robin Toms also include vandalism and breaking and entering.
The Dec. 14 blaze lit the skies for miles along I-70 in Columbus and led two schools to cancel classes. More than two dozen fire trucks and dozens of firefighters responded.
Authorities say the fire destroyed about 80 percent of the 189,000-square-foot SJT Depot warehouse and put dozens out of work. O’Brien says losses are expected to be in the millions. No injuries were reported.
A Dec. 28 hearing was set for the 30-year-old Toms, who does not yet have an attorney.
