Alliance Girl Dies In Washington County Crash

A 10-year-old girl from Alliance, Ohio is dead following a car crash on 1-77 in Washington County yesterday.
Troopers from the Marietta Post of the State Highway Patrol say the driver of the vehicle, 42-year-old Michelle Lynch, also of Alliance, lost control of the car and traveled over the median into oncoming traffic.
Troopers say Lynch's vehicle hit a semi-truck and Lynch was ejected from the vehicle.
Her niece, Rebecca Woodburn, was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The semi-truck driver, Juan Carlos Alvarado of Kissimmee, Florida, was taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries.
