Ohio University Press Release – Grabbing a fresh coffee, snack, sandwich or salad just became a little easier for Ohio University employees and students near the West Union Street Office Center.

Steam Station Café, Culinary Services’ newest on-campus location, opened last week in the WUSOC atrium. The venue serves Starbucks drinks and offers numerous “FreshTake” subs, sandwiches and salads that are made fresh daily within Culinary Services’ Central Support Kitchen.

The location is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., and atrium seating is available.

“Steam Station really offers something for everyone,” said Kent Scott, associate director of auxiliaries operations. “It’s the perfect place to grab your morning coffee, a quick meal at lunch, or a mid-afternoon snack.”

The new venue accepts numerous forms of payment, including Flex Points, Bobcat Cash, cash, debit and credit.

Campus Area Transit Service’s (CATS) blue loop shuttle is available to provide transportation to and from WUSOC. CATS, free to all OHIO students, faculty, staff and guests, makes numerous stops across OHIO’s campus.
