Gas Prices Down For Holiday Travel
< < Back to ?p=2122Ohio gas prices are 14 cents lower this week, offering savings for Thanksgiving holiday travelers.
Monday's survey from auto club AAA, the Oil Price Information Service and Wright Express shows the statewide average price for regular gasoline is about $3.23 a gallon, compared with $3.37 last week.
The state's pump prices remain higher than they were last year at this time, when regular was averaging $2.81.
Analysts say the cost of gas could fall by another 13 cents nationwide by the end of this year.
The latest decline comes after oil prices backed off from a near four-month high above $103 last week amid new signs of weakness in the global economy.
