W. Va. Man Accused of Double Shooting Still At-Large

Cabell County Sheriff Chuck Zerkle says multiple agencies are searching for 29-year-old Jeremy Bartram. Sheriff Zerkle says Bartram fired gunshots into a house while looking for his estranged girlfriend, wounding her mother, brother and a 7-year-old.
Deputies responded to the shooting around 4 a.m. Wednesday and found the ex-girlfriend’s mother and brother in critical condition. Fifty-eight-year-old Vicky Emerick was shot in the shoulder and her son, 24-year-old Casey Emerick, was shot multiple times in his stomach. A 7-year-old was injured by shrapnel. All three were taken to a hospital. Five children were in the home at the time of shooting, one of which was Bartram’s.
