Craigslist Case Scheduled For Court Today
< < Back to craigslist-case-scheduled-court-todayAn Ohio teenager arrested as authorities investigate a deadly Craigslist robbery scheme is scheduled to appear before a judge Tuesday at a hearing that could see him transferred to adult court.
The Noble County prosecutor has asked that the 16-year-old Akron boy, now facing attempted murder charges, be tried as an adult.
The teen was taken into custody two weeks ago after interviews with the FBI.
Police have linked two deaths and a non-fatal shooting to the scheme which sought workers for a nonexistent cattle farm in southeastern Ohio.
A third body was found Friday in Noble County but hasn't yet been officially connected to the scheme.
A second suspect, a man who served as a mentor to the teen, is in jail on unrelated charges.
