Drug Bust Made In Glouster Home
< < Back to drug-bust-made-in-glouster-homeGLOUSTER, Ohio — Two men are under arrest after a search warrant was executed on an Athens County home suspected to be the site of drug trafficking.
Jeffery Hammon, 39, and William Blosser, 40, both of Glouster, were taken into custody early Thursday morning, according to a press release from the Athens County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies entered the Glouster residence on Red Dog Road owned by Hammon and found suspected methamphetamine, heroin and evidence of drug trafficking. Hammon was arrested on possession of a controlled substance.
Blosser was one of several people occupying the residence at the time. Officials discovered three active warrants for felony and misdemeanor theft offenses in his name and took him into custody.
The residence was also occupied by several children.
Both men were transported to the Southeast Ohio Regional Jail.
Addition charges are expected, according to the release.
The Athens County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Interdiction Unit, Athens County Major Crimes Unit and the Athens County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team were all involved in executing the search warrant.
