African Children’s Choir Headed to Jackson Aug. 2

The African Children’s Choir will perform at the Jackson YMCA (549 Main Street, Jackson) on Friday, August 2 at 6:30 p.m. The performance is free, but donations are accepted.
Music For Life is the parent organization of The African Children’s Choir, which has been around since 1982. Music For Life has educated over 52,000 children and has changed the lives of over 100,000 people through it’s development and relief programs in Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, and South Africa.
WOUB spoke to Jade Powers, the tour leader of the group coming to Jackson, in the interview embedded above.
