GLOUSTER, Ohio- The Lady Tomcats walked away victorious Monday, picking up their 11th win of the season after defeating the Eastern lady Eagles. The game was close after the first quarter, but after that the Lady Tomcats ran away with this one.

The Lady Tomcats were victorious by a score of 58-47. The Lady Tomcats had big nights from Brianna Orsborne who scored 25 points and added five rebounds to the stat line. Laikyn Imler handled the ball well and added two points, three rebounds, and three assists. Emily Young made her presence known on the court as well with 10 points, two rebounds, and two assists.

Jayne Six went off for a double-double with 21 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists. She was dominant tonight and she ran the court for Trimble. She was sharing the rock with all of her teammates making great passes that allowed her teammates to score easy baskets.

For Eastern, Jennifer Parker led the team with 17 points shooting 3-5 from the three-point line. Sydney Reynolds chipped in nine points of her own, and she also added three rebounds to her stat line. Turnovers were a big problem for the lady Eagles; they had 14 turnovers over the course of this game and that was a big difference maker in the final score.

Both teams shot an average percentage from the charity stripe, both cashed in on free points. Overall Trimble ran the floor better and they controlled the overall pace of the game. If they wanted to run the floor and play fast, they could, and if they wanted to slow the pace of the game, they did just that. Trimble had great ball movement, swinging the rock all over the court and sharing the love with all team members.

The difference in this game was tempo, as stated before Trimble controlled the tempo for the entire game, and they did not take their foot off the gas until the final buzzer sounded.

Trimble looks to keep rolling this Thursday as they travel to Stewart, Ohio to take on the Federal Hocking Lady Lancers and pick up their 12th win of the season. They need to keep the momentum on their side to keep pushing through this tough TVC-Hocking schedule.
