Participants can expect to hike through various habitats at the SugarBush Valley Farm to tour a cross-section of seasonal dormancy of the multiple flora and fauna. Garry Conley will lead participants throughout multiple habitats as he shares stories of the early signs of life emerging and leads a discussion of natural succession and the effects of climate change. Additionally, the group will get the chance to plant tree plugs along the farm’s riparian forest buffer zone courtesy of Gary Conley.
