The first half of the football game would be a back and forth game between the two teams, with Union Local scoring first on 19 yard touchdown pass by Carter Blake to Trey Saunders.
Shenandoah would strike back right after with a touchdown pass by Barnett to Hunter Yates for a 69 yard touchdown, Union would answer right back with a Carter Blake 14 yard touchdown run, and then 43 seconds later Barnett would hit Brenden Portman for a 80 yards touchdown pass, which would make Union Local be down for the first time all season.
After that it would all be the Jaksan Price show as he would run for the next two touchdowns of the game putting Union Local up by two touchdowns, and he would end the game with Four touchdowns, after his third touchdown he would go on to break Union Locals all time Touchdown record after he rushed for his 33rd touchdown of all time tonight, that’s not the only record he would break tonight he also broke Union Locals all time points leader after he scored his 218th point his whole career.
What makes that even special for Jaksan Price is that all last year he had to watch his team from the sideline, while he was hurt, He was motivated to get out on the field again and put in a lot of work over the summer then prove he is healthy enough now to go back out there and break records like he did tonight, and be the leader his team needed after a rough first half.
Union Local would go on to the win game 49-20 and moving to (5-0) on the season and Shenandoah would fall to (4-1) on the season. Union Local has to travel to west Virginia next week to take on Weir. Shenandoah takes on the (1-3) Buckeye Local.
