New Episodes and Games

To go along with new Wombats episodes, there are new games on the PBS KIDS Games app. In the new game, Story Emporium, players will learn about the computation thinking skill of cause and effect. Join Ellie and the Wombats to create four different stories! Choose the setting, character, and action, then read the story and see the effects.

Help Students Communicate, Connect and Share with Video Storytelling

KQED Webinar – Dec 6th, 7pm

Video projects are a powerful way for students to communicate ideas and share learning. Explore a variety of video projects from K-12 classrooms that show the impact of video storytelling. Then start your own video to use as a model for a project in your classroom or learning environment. You’ll get hands-on experience with video editing tools, as well as classroom resources, a modifiable curriculum, and connections to further learning with KQED. Video production beginners and experts will leave with something useful for their practice.

New Virtual Field Trip
Ohio Learns 360

A new virtual field trip premieres December 6. Take a trip on the Ohio & Erie Canal near Toledo to explore the history of early transportation in Ohio and discover how canals shaped the development of commerce and population shifts in the state. A special thanks to WBGU-PBS and Metroparks Toledo for making this virtual field trip.
