Known as “the Bela Fleck of the Hammered Dulcimer”, Ted has performed and traveled extensively around the U.S. Ted’s rock ‘n roll energy and artistry redefines what is possible on the hammered dulcimer, leaving audiences inspired, captivated and eager for more. Ted’s approach to the instrument, coupled with his band (guitar, bass, drums, percussion) and his ability to combine classical, jazz, blues, rock and roll, and old-time music sensibilities into his music, creates a new and refreshing kaleidoscopic range of musical colors and textures. In 2016, his backyard video of “Everybody Wants to Rule the World” went viral, being seen by over 200 million people, leading to newfound recognition.
