Judge Orders No Contact For Craigslist Murder Suspects
< < Back to judge-orders-no-contact-craigslist-murder-suspectsAn Ohio judge has ordered two men suspected in the shooting deaths of three people who responded to bogus Craigslist job ads to have no contact with each other while they await trial.
A report summary made available Wednesday by Summit County Common Pleas Court Judge Lynne Callahan in Akron says 52-year-old Richard Beasley and 17-year-old Brogan Rafferty are to be kept apart while housed at the county jail.
The judge has blocked access to details behind her decision.
Beasley is suspected in the shooting deaths of three people who authorities say were lured to a rural area in Noble County by fake job ads posted on Craigslist. Beasley has pleaded not guilty to multiple charges including aggravated murder. Rafferty is charged with helping in the scheme.
