Power Restoration Dates For Southeast and Southern Ohio

Most customers of American Electric Power who've been without service for most of a week will have their power restored by Friday.
As of Thursday morning about 22,000 AEP customers in a seven-county area south of Athens were without power while other customers north of Athens County continue to see progress in restoration.
Here is a list of AEP outages in the area and the dates service is expected to be restored:

Gallia – Outages:2,238 ; Expected date of restoration: Friday, July 6
Jackson – Outages:3,728 ; Expected date of restoration: Tuesday, July 10
Lawrence – Outages:1,069; Expected date of restoration: Unannounced
Meigs – Outages:4,322 ; Expected date of restoration: Friday, July 6
Scioto – Outages:1,235 ; Expected date of restoration: Thursday, July 5
Vinton – Outages:2,989 ; Expected date of restoration: Unannounced
Buckeye Rural is uncertain of when its customers's service will be restored.
As of Thursday morning about 21,000 Buckeye Rural customers were without electricity.
