Meet Tyler Tettleton
< < Back toSeemingly for the first time in the Frank Solich era, Ohio football has a bonafide starting quarterback. No committees, no sharing time, no doubt.
Tyler Tettleton won the starting quarterback job in spring practice and has continued strong play through fall training camp and into the first game of the 2011 season, completing 16 of his 28 passes for 153 yards and two touchdowns. He also ran for two scores in Ohio's 44-24 win over New Mexico State.
He has on-field talent, certainly, and his teammates and coaches have confidence in him to make the plays necessary for the 'Cats to win games.
The Ohio home opener is this coming Saturday, September 10, at Peden Stadium against Gardner-Webb.
