Ohio Women’s Cross Country Finishes 28th in Pre-Nationals

Ohio Women's Cross Country finished 28th in the 2012 NCAA Division 1 Pre-National Meet at E.P. Tom Sawyer State Park in Louisville, Ky. on Saturday morning. Junior Julie Accurso finished 13th with a time of 20:15.
Junior Melissa Thompson came in second for Ohio behind Accurso with a time of 21:31. Sophomore Morgan Reichert, freshman Kayla Scott and junior Morgan Meade rounded out the top five for the 'Cats with times of 21:56, 22:12 and 22:40 respectively.
Both the men and women runners will race again on Oct. 27 in Buffalo, New York for the MAC championship.
