Incoming W.Va. Attorney General Names Top Deputies

Republican Patrick Morrisey named top deputies and other office changes Wednesday.
Dan Greear will become chief counsel. Greear is a former GOP legislator who unsuccessfully ran for attorney general in 2008.
Elbert Lin will take the new post of solicitor general. Like Morrisey, he's practiced at a Washington, D.C., corporate law firm. Lin was also a clerk for U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. Lin is not yet listed as a member of the West Virginia State Bar.
Other picks include deputy Ethics Commission lawyer Marty Wright as public integrity officer and Richie Heath as overseer of West Virginia's business climate. Heath is with the group Citizens Against Lawsuit Abuse.
Morrisey takes office Monday after defeating incumbent Darrell McGraw.
