Inman Pleads Not Guilty To New Murder Charge
< < Back to inman-pleads-not-guilty-new-murder-chargeThe mother-in-law of a southeast Ohio woman found strangled in a septic tank has pleaded not guilty to murder.
Sandra Inman, 46, is also charged with kidnapping, tampering with evidence and gross abuse of a corpse.
Inman had earlier pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity to kidnapping 25-year-old Summer Inman in Logan in March. Summer Inman's estranged husband and father-in-law have pleaded not guilty to charges of aggravated murder and kidnapping.
Sandra Inman's lawyer, William Henderson says she disclosed where her daughter-in-law's body was and "deserves something in return."
Hocking County Prosecutor Laina Fetherolf says a plea deal with Sandra Inman was dropped because she didn't give specifics of the crimes and reneged on a promise to plead guilty to the initial kidnapping charge.
