Police Arrest Six People In Drug Busts

Six people were taken into custody following drug raids at three residences in Wellston, Ohio.
Wellston Police chief Tim Ackley says members of the Drug Task Force and Special Response Team conducted the raids at a residence in the 100-block of West 13th Street, and two apartments in the Well Manor Apartments.
Chief Ackley says the six people face various charges. Those charges are expected to be filed after being reviewed the Jackson County Prosecutor.
Ackley says Tuesday’s raids are another step the department’s commitment to rid the community of illegal drugs
