Location

Ohio has two major landforms: plains and plateaus. In the plains, the land is flat or gently rolling. The plateaus are higher, hillier, and have more narrow valleys than the plains. Ohio is also rich in water. The largest bodies of water in Ohio are Lake Erie and the Ohio River. There are many other smaller rivers and lakes in the state though.
