Location

There are large cities in the northern, central, and western parts of Ohio. The southeastern part of the state does not have a major city. Twenty-five percent of Ohioans live on farms and in other rural areas. Seventy-five percent of Ohioans live in urban areas with half of those people living inside city boundary lines and half living outside in the suburban areas. The suburbs are getting larger because people continue to move outside city limits.
