You are invited to attend the 50th Annual Athens Invitational Marching Festival on Saturday, October 11 at 10:00am at Athens High School’s Joe Burrow Stadium! This festival is the 3rd longest running marching band festival in the state of Ohio. High School bands from Southeast and Central Ohio will perform at this prestigious event! Bands scheduled to attend include: Trimble, Fort Frye, Belpre, Meigs, Circleville, Marietta, Portsmouth West, Tri-Valley, Olentangy Liberty, Athens. The festival is sponsored by the Athens Band Boosters, Kiwanis Club of Downtown Athens, and Chauncey-Dover Lions. Admission is $8 for adults and $5 for children. The gates will open at 9:00am and the festival will conclude with a performance by the Athens High School Marching Green and Gold at 1:15pm. Proceeds go to benefit these community organizations.
